You always know what you are doing, even when you do not realize it. Your eye knows it sees, though it cannot see itself except through the use of reflection. In the same way the world as you see it is a reflection of what you are, a reflection not in glass but in three-dimensional reality. You project your thoughts, feelings and expectations outward, then you perceive them as outside reality. I was browsing the net the other evening and came across another person who claims to be channeling Seth. I would like to re-iterate that this site, Seth Alive, is strictly a Jane Roberts and Roberts Butts site. No copy-cat Seth material will be published here.

I felt that my work was being contaminated, and more, I was annoyed and disappointed by those readers who could apparently be so taken in by those other Seths. Let us use some common sense here. We know Seth is outside of time. If you accept the Seth material you will accept that truth. The truth that time is simultaneous. Given that truth, there would be no way for Seth to all-of-a-sudden reappear channeling through someone else. Because Seth is outside of time (and Jane and Robert now as well) Seth could see the entire range of time before he made the commitment to channel exclusively through Jane Roberts. Unless you are calling Seth a liar? If that were the case then the wanna be channelers would be channeling the words of a liar. And what would that make them?

This is the exact reason why Seth chose only to speak through Jane Roberts.

There are internal realizations always present within the whole self. There is a comprehension of the meaning of all existence within each personality. The knowledge of multi-dimensional existence is not only in the background of your present conscious activity, but each man knows within himself that his conscious life is dependent upon a greater dimension of actuality. This greater dimension can not be materialized in the three dimensional system, yet the knowledge of this greater dimension floods outward from the inner most heart of being, and is projected outward, transforming all it touches.

This flooding-out imbues certain elements of the physical world with a brilliance and intensity far surpassing that usually known. Those touched by it are transformed, in your terms, into something more than they were. This inner knowledge attempts to find a place for itself within the physical landscape, to translate itself into physical terms. Each man, then, possesses this inner knowledge within himself, and to some extent or other he also looks for confirmation of it in the world.

It is very difficult to admit that you are in many ways more effective and creative in the sleep state than in the waking state, and somewhat shattering to admit that the dream body can indeed fly, defying both time and space. It is much easier to pretend that all such experiences are symbolic and not literal, to evolve complicated psychological theories, for example, to explain flying dreams.

The simple fact is that when you dream you are flying, you often are.

In sleep and dream states you are involved in the same dimension of experience in which you will have your after-death experiences. You do not remember the most important part of these nightly adventures, and so those you do recall seem bizzare or chaotic as a rule. This is because in your present state of development you are not able to manipulate consciously within more than one environment.
